What's up with Weekend Offender?

It is now impossible to imagine terraces, pubs and clubs without their designs, even though they have only been around since 2004. In recent years in particular, they have been on the rise, with the well-known crown becoming increasingly common. We are of course talking about Weekend Offender , the cool British label. But what about those guys, what do they stand for and why?

As young guys, Sam Jones and Rhydian Powell founded the brand in 2004, in a small town just outside Cardiff. They believed that a clothing brand should stand for unruly youth culture, and they therefore focus on guests in their teens to their late twenties. The unruly, rough generation that partying and drinking through the weekend, to escape the heavy and hard everyday life. Not the pretty boys with their slick selfies, but the real youth culture of then and now. This is also reflected in the logo, with the well-known crown. This is actually the logo of prison organization in Great Britain, while the British crown is also used. There has been some fuss about this, which is of course also part of the contrary and rebellious image.

Weekend Offender 's clothing fits in with this: No-nonsense fashion, yet stylish and striking and always of good quality. Initially, Jones and Powell designed 'Outerwear': Jackets and cardigans that you can wear over anything, for any occasion. This turned out to be a success, and soon the polos and shirts to wear underneath followed. Because the rough young people could also be found in the fanatical corners of the stadiums, the brand quickly became known among the lads, but Jamie Oliver and actor Samuel L. Jackson can also be found in the flagship store in London every now and then . The designs of Weekend Offender ensure that everyone looks back when you walk by, without being too exaggerated. Ideal for club and stadium wear at weekends, it has become part of the fan culture. You would like to be seen in this!
